Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry
Food drive collections take place on Communion Sundays and are delivered to Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes for distribution.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
Usually held in June, participants help set up, prepare or serve refreshments, or donate blood.
North Park sponsors 2-4 children each summer to go to Camp Geneva or CranHill Ranch. Applicants for this program are found through the Kalamazoo Deacons Conference.
Free picnic, games and prizes held for the neighborhood of LaCrone Park in conjunction with the Deacons Conference at the end of the school year.
KDC Backpack / Back to School Bash
Collecting school supplies and backpacks for the start of school in partnership with the Deacons Conference.
Second Sunday Sharing
Preparing and serving soup in the winter months and hotdogs in the summer months at a couple of outdoor downtown locations. This takes place usually on the Second Sunday of the month in the afternoon.
Run for the Son
A 5K run and walk to raise funds and develop community awareness for the work of the Deacons Conference. It is usually held on the last Saturday of September.
Thanksgiving Outreach Dinner
Held on Thanksgiving Day, warm turkey dinners are prepared, packaged and delivered to people all over Kalamazoo County.
Different gift giving ministries have been done throughout the years, including Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes , Angel Tree and Adopt-a-Teen/Family.
Annual Mission Trip
North Park sends a team out almost every summer, usually alternating each year between youth and adults. The locations for these trips are different every year.
North Park members transport elderly people to appointments.
